What a PM Actually does

Defines WHAT gets built

And more importantly — what doesn't get built

Discovers real user problems

Research, interviews, synthesis — before a single line of code

Documents the roadmap

PRDs, user stories, specs that entire teams build from

Aligns everyone

Engineers, designers, leadership — the PM is the translator

Let's have an honest conversation.

You have wanted to break into tech for a while. Maybe a long while. You have done the research. You’ve read the threads, watched the YouTube videos, maybe even applied to a few roles.

And still — nothing has moved.

The information is not the problem. There is more free content about Product Management on the internet than any human could consume in a lifetime. The problem is that none of it is structured. None of it holds you accountable. None of it gives you real work to show an employer.

You are not stuck because you are not smart enough. You are stuck because nobody has given you the right structure, the right mentor, and the right real problem to solve.

“The only difference between them and you is that they got the training, built the portfolio, and made the move.”

You're stuck in a loop

YouTube → inspiration → 2 days of motivation → back to the routine. No structure to force you to build.

Structure is what changes things

A program that makes you do the work. Real mentorship. Real problems. A portfolio a hiring manager can see.

No tech background required

The best PMs are not the most technical — they are the most human. That is teachable. We have proven it 73 times.

The Most powerful job in tech requires zero lines of code.

Most people assume Product Management is a technical role. The truth? The best PMs in the world are not the most technical. They are the most human.

They understand customer pain

The PM who truly understands what the user is suffering builds the product that wins.

They translate pain into product

Bridge the gap between what the customer needs and what the engineering team builds.

They decide WHAT, WHEN, and WHY

Roadmaps, priorities, trade-offs — the PM is the decision-maker the whole team waits on.

They sit at the intersection

Business, design, and technology — without needing to master any single one of them.

Read this slowly. Does any of this sound like you?

We are going to describe someone. If this person resembles you, this bootcamp was built for you.

You have a degree — maybe even a good one — but it has nothing to do with tech, and every PM job posting asks for 'tech experience' you do not have

You are currently in a role that pays your bills but does not match your potential — banking, customer service, teaching, admin, sales — and you have been quietly planning your exit for longer than you want to admit

You understand products intuitively. You use apps every day and immediately notice what is broken, what is clunky, what should have been built differently

You have googled 'how to become a Product Manager' more than once, read seven articles, felt inspired for two days, then slipped back into the routine

You know you need a portfolio but have no idea how to build one that does not look fake

You have heard about PM salaries and thought 'people actually get paid that much?' — and then wondered why it isn't you

Introducing the Chigisoft Product Management Bootcamp.

We do not teach you about product management. We make you do it — on real problems, with real mentorship, in a real community.

Product Management Fundamentals — Know the Field Before You Enter It

What you leave with:

  • Explain what a PM does to anyone — investor, engineer, or your parents
  • Understand the PM’s role vs. project managers
  • Know roadmapping, prioritisation, and OKRs frameworks
  • No longer intimidated by any job description

⚡  Superpower: PM Clarity — You think like a product person

Product Discovery — Find the Right Problem Before You Build the Wrong Solution

What you leave with:

  • Run user research interviews that surface real insights
  • Synthesise research into a clear problem statement
  • Map user flows in FigJam and run design thinking exercises
  • Know why the best PMs spend more time discovering than designing

⚡ Superpower: Discovery Mastery — You validate before you build

Product Documentation — Write the Artefacts That Get Products Built

What you leave with:

  • Write a PRD that engineers actually want to read
  • Write user stories, feature specs, and acceptance criteria
  • Produce documentation a developer could start working from today
  • Speak the written language of every product team in the world

⚡ Superpower: Documentation Power — Your words move teams

Team Communication — The PM's Real Job Is Alignment

What you leave with:

  • Run cross-functional meetings that end with decisions
  • Write briefs, communicate trade-offs, manage stakeholder expectations
  • Push back diplomatically on bad ideas — including from leadership
  • Build trust with engineers and designers that makes teams follow you

⚡ Superpower: Influence Without Authority — The rarest PM skill

Design Thinking + FigJam + User Flows — Think Like the Whole Team

What you leave with:

  • Run design thinking exercises and produce outputs designers can build from
  • Map complex user flows in FigJam the way senior PMs do
  • Understand design systems well enough to communicate with any designer
  • No longer need a designer to hold your hand through product conversations

⚡ Superpower: Cross-functional Fluency — Engineers and designers trust you

What your weeks inside the bootcamp actually look like.

Forget the image of sitting alone watching lecture slides at 2am. This is not that kind of program.

2 Live Sessions/Week

Every Saturday 12pm MT / 8pm WAT and every Friday 12pm MT / 8pm WAT

Always Recorded

Every session recorded. Miss a class? Watch the replay. We do not punish life for happening.

1:1 Mentorship

Industry professionals who have actually held PM roles — not coaches who’ve only read about them.

Here is what you are actually investing in.

You Probably Have Questions. Let's Deal With Them Directly.

Good. That's the most important question you can ask. We cannot guarantee a job offer — any program that does is lying. What we can guarantee: you will leave with a portfolio of real PM artefacts — PRDs, user research documents, user flows — that hiring managers at actual tech companies review every day. The portfolio is what opens the door. We build you the portfolio.

We built in an installment option — split into two parts. But reframe the number: the average entry-level PM salary in Nigeria starts at ₦300,000 per month. This bootcamp costs 25% of your first month's salary in your new career. The real question is: how many more months can you afford to stay exactly where you are?

Two live sessions per week. Everything recorded. Self-paced modules between sessions. You need 3–4 hours per week. If you have ever spent a Sunday afternoon going nowhere on your phone, you have the time. The question is not availability — it is priority. And only you can answer that.
Product Management is not a technical role. It is a people, strategy, and communication role that sits adjacent to technology. You need zero coding knowledge. You need zero engineering background. All you need is a good handle of a computer. The rest, we teach you.
Then you will know — and you will know faster than if you stayed in the 'thinking about it' phase for another year. But here's what we've found: the people who make it through the first two weeks almost always finish. Because once you start building real things, momentum takes over.
A certificate of completion from Chigisoft — a Canada-registered corporation (Registration No. 1447679-4). All assignments and tasks must be completed to qualify.
